How we help
Remedial teaching is also known as developmental education, basic skills education, compensatory education, preparatory education or academic improvement. Whatever the name, the aim is the same: building strong skills in the fundamentals, especially literacy and numeracy.
Our remedial teachers guide each child through the learning process using a range of techniques, giving extra practice and explanation, revising regularly and allowing more time to practise each skill.
